Songman, composer & guitarist. Dave Arden has been the "on call" man working with and supporting many of the greatest Australian & Indigenous artists both at home & internationally for over 25 yrs.

Dave's passion for music & in particular Indigenous music, creativity & leadership has taken a front seat for the most part in his lengthy & highly sought after talent during that time having been shared by many other highest calibre artists across Australia & the world.

David's international cultural exchange tours to West Belfast and the UK in 1996/1997 plus a cultural exchange to Fiji in 1996 enhanced his perception of other cultures and continues to nourish his need for keeping his own culture strong. A highlight of the first Koori-Celtic tour was David and Wayne Thorpe performing on stage with Shane McGowan and The Pogues to an audience of over ten thousand..

Dave's personal creative endeavours have more recently come to the fore since 2007 releasing his first album "Kookatha/Gunditjmara Clan" produced with Shane Howard of Goanna fame.
In 2007 David released his debut solo album Kookatha/Gunditjmara Clan, an exploration of identity. As a respected songwriter, musician and producer, David is not afraid to confront the issues facing his people and the world beyond. His songs are gentle, singing of the simple beauty of family life, and yet vibrant, always treated with a musical freshness that sets the feet tapping and the heart soaring.

David sings from the heart, with an incredible vocal range and a beautiful musicality. Over the past 12 months Dave has been creating his latest album "I Remember" which is due for release in 2012.
