Charlie Trindall

Is a descendent of the Gamilaroi people of North Western NSW and has been playing music since his early teens. Charlie had his first independent EP Blacktracks in the late 90's which received generous airplay.

Later Charlie released his second independent Ancient Echoes a 12 song collection of original songs. with two songs from this album being included on compilation albums.

Song Dreaming - album "Burray" a compilation of stolen generations songs

Fringe Dwelling Man - album "Together Together" a compilation of reconciliation songs.

Two songs from this album were also re-recorded by legendary singer Roger Knox on his album "Still Strong" these included the songs Blacktracks and Life and Culture.

In 2008 Charlie completed a third independent EP Going Home with the title track "Going Home" nominated for the 2008 Deadly award "Single release of the year".

His latest EP is a testimony to the deeper meaning behind the words and music of this singer/songwriter and "When Angels Fall" is Charlie's anthem to the pain and hurt of the adult survivors of child abuse and neglect. If we take the music and lyrics of Charlie Trindall wrapped them up in the harmonies of nationally and internationally acclaimed duo,
Stiff Gins (Nardi Simpson and Kaleena Briggs) add the vocals from the "tell it as it is" Rap duo The Dreamtime Brothaz (Josh Trindall and Col Quinlin) the final product is the unique collaborative musical experience of "When Angels Fall".

With other songs on the EP including "Can't walk away" and "Real Killer" This EP takes us on a journey of hope, love and connection and allows to unpack these concepts in a simple melodic manner. To find out more about Charlie's music contact Charlie direct on 0428394497
